Driving Tests and Snow

Update Wednesday 1st December 2010

If you have a driving test over the next few days, please follow the advice on your appointment letter from the Driving Standards Agency. This tells you to contact the test centre by telephone on the day of your test. Sometimes you will be asked to keep phoning even up to 30 minutes before your test.

Latest information at 11.00 hours is that tests up to this time at Morden, Sutton & Tolworth have been cancelled. As the situation can change quickly please call the DSA.

DSA cutomer services is exoeriencing a large volume of calls and you may find it difficult to get through. You can still check or change your driving test on their website: Driving Standards Agency

I passed my driving test yesterday. It was only with the help and encouragement I received from Chris that got me through it. He was always friendly, he really helped building my confidence and has very good teaching skills. I would recommend him to anyone thinking of taking lessons. Many thanks, Vikki Knight

Having passed my test a couple of hours ago and in a very good mood!

My Blakes Driving Instructor Phillip (Tang) was patient, friendly and calm whilst teaching me to drive. His instructions were very clear and he encouraged me to think for myself whilst on the road which proved vital during my test. Thanks Phil & Blakes, would recommend you to anyone! I just wanted to write a few words and express our heartfelt appreciation for all you did for us.

We sincerely want to thank you for all your help, constant encouragement and most of all your patience during our driving lessons. You put us at ease from the very first day itself and from then on, all the classes were real fun times, something both Sandeep & I always looked forward to. Will miss our classes with you!

I passed my driving test this morning and wanted to say thank you.

Chris, my driving instructor, has been the best teacher and without his instruction I would not have got through. He helped me get over a bad case of nerves that kept me focused. I will be recommending Blakes Driving School and Chris to anyone who asks.
