Testing Times

The Driving Standards Agency is going to make adjustments to the times candidates will be able to take driving tests. From the 17th May appointments for practical driving tests will be offered at the weekends, evenings and early mornings. Test times will vary at test centres and the changes will be based on individual demand.
 

DSA Chief Executive, Rosemary Thew, said: "These changes will ensure that our examiners' time is focused on where it is needed most and that we make the best use of our resources. We will keep the situation under constant review and offer testing outside normal hours to provide extra capacity where it is needed."
 

This initiative will hopefully give pupils the flexibility to take driving tests outside of working hours and with a little luck help reduce the waiting times for practical driving tests.
