Fulham is situated in the Hammersmith and Fulham Borough of London, and is a fantastic part of southwest London that we are proud to cover. Fulham was formerly the seat of the diocese of Fulham and Gibraltar, and Fulham Palace was the former official home of the Bishop of London. Nick

Following a 15 year career working in the city, Nick left the rat race and started on the road to become a driving school Instructor. He spent 9 months on a trainee instructors licence with a large national driving school bringing many successes to his pupils. After passing his 3 ADI exams and becoming fully qualified, Nick decided to join Blakes and share the more personal approach of an independent school.

Nick said "The aim is enjoy each lesson, and make sure each pupil feels they are learning as well as having fun in the lead up to the eventual test". The areas he covers in fabulous style and panache, in a Ford Fiesta are driving lessons in Fulham, Chelsea, Battersea and driving lessons in Richmond, Wandsworth and Putney.

After you have learnt to drive you could take advantage of the many sights to be seen in Fulham. There is the cinema complex, which is part of the Fulham Broadway Centre. The famous restaurant The River Café, alongside the headquarters of architect Richard Rogers and the London Oratory School. Fulham Town Hall built in 1888 in the classical renaissance is now used as a popular venue for concerts and dances, especially its Grand Hall.

Safety first - safety, safety, safety

Awareness - be aware at all times, and expect the unexpected. Don't expect the other driver to be aware and remain cautious at all times.

Consideration - be considerate about others on the road. We've all heard of road rage and a little consideration for others can help to prevent this.

Roadworthiness - Ensure your vehicle is road worthy at all times. This means regular services and mainanence.

Never! - Drink and drive, use a mobile phone, eat, fiddle with the radio, or anything else that could cause you to lose concentration behind the wheel.
