All our driving instructors are fully qualified

Pupils are sometimes unaware that there are two types of driving instructor: A) A fully qualified Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (DSA ADI car) who must display a green badge in the windscreen of the car and B) A Trainee Driving Instructor who displays a pink badge in the car windscreen. All Blakes Driving Instructors are Fully Qualified.

Full 60 minute lessons

We won’t cut your lesson short, if you have paid for an hour, that’s what you will get! Don’t be fooled by cheap lessons that only last for 45 – 50 minutes, by the time you get into the car it’s time to get back out. When we say a minimum of 60 minutes, it’s your choice, your lessons can be an hour, an hour and a half or two.

No extra charges for evenings or weekends

We don’t think you should have to pay more just because you have to study or work and can’t take your driving lessons during the day. Our prices will stay the same whatever time or day of the week you learn to drive.

Easy payment methods

We accept most major credit and debit cards, just call us in the office and we will take payment from you. Please note that you can also pay your driving instructor with cash at the start of the lesson if you wish.

We believe you should have the choice to spend your money how you wish. If you make a payment to us the decide you don’t want to take the lessons for whatever reason. Call us and as long as you have given us the 48 hours cancellation notice, we will be happy to give you a full refund.

Your lesson – your choice

Manual or automatic? Male or female Instructor? We believe in giving you choices! To get the most out of your lessons you must feel comfortable with both the car and instructor. We always recommend that you take a single lesson first and make sure you are happy. If you decide you want to change, that fine, we won’t even insist on a reason why!
