I decided I needed to learn how to drive, while pregnant with my second baby. With an active toddler on my hands, I needed to be able to get out, and wear her out during the day. I was starting to feel a bit isolated as friends met up and I had no means to join them.

I had never had any lessons before, so was a total beginner. I started with another driving school and I’m very glad now I decided to switch to Blakes. I needed a less formal, more inspiring teacher, who would be sympathetic to my situation.

I am the first to admit I suffer from complete ‘baby brain’. Once the baby arrived, this turned to sleep deprivation! I swear Kevin had to cover the same points hundreds of times, and never once did I feel I wasn’t making progress. I left each lesson feeling positive, looking forward to the next. Only now can I appreciate how bad I was at the beginning!

When I passed just 6 weeks after the baby was born, I was elated. It has been worth every penny, and a great experience.

I would happily recommend Blakes to all my friends and family, and anyone starting from scratch, like myself.
